ICE uses the finest materials, buckles, and trim available. We use our trademark Camo PALS web wherever the PALS might be exposed, such as the front of stackable pouches and the back of our Yokes. We use standard MOLLE web where it is assumed it will be covered by pouches such as on the chest rigs. Our Camo Binding is used on flaps and around edges where it offers a cleaner finish that matches the rest of the pouch better than standard binding tape. All MOLLE web is attached with 42 stitch bartacks. Internal seams are bound to prevent fraying. We use strong #8 reversed coil zips with custom coated sliders. Coil zippers run smoother around curves than tooth zippers. The reverse coil zipper puts the more durable, camouflage, and low profile flat side to the outside.

Pouches attach with Malice clips. They can be used on any brand of MOLLE gear. We construct our pouches inside out, and then turn them. This puts all of the seams and binding inside the pouch. ICE pouches are as much as 1” narrower than competitors. This can allow more pouches on the same sized rig. Flaps have rounded corners which help prevent snagging on straps and rifle slings.

We use Surface Mount side release buckle for most of our magazine pouches. This allows an easy one-handed release for the flap and keeps the buckle steady when fastening it. External shockcord compression is adjustable and replaceable. Open top pouches are secured with shockcord with a pull-tab and are adjustable with a cordlock. All pouches feature drain grommets in the bottom.
